Unless you buy a new machine with High Sierra already on it, I would stay away from High Sierra.
CV is just slower than KCD.īootcamp does not allow you to be in Windows and MacOS at the same time. I usually have multiple tabs open in both Firefox and Chrome browsers along with Evernote, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat app documents all while working on KCD on one of the external monitors. I use Parallels because I use 2 external 23” monitors for most of my work, the laptop monitor is where I monitor other items. Does it run well? Compared to what? CV is a graphics and memory hog compared to KCD. I do have Cabinetvision and it runs on my machine.
I use Parallels v12 (13 is newest) to run Windows 10 with KCD. I recently purchased a used 2015 15" MacBook Pro (16 GB RAM & 500 GB SSD drive) with Sierra (NOT High Sierra) to replace a 2011 17” MacBook Pro.
